First Snow Storm In NOVEMBER

What crazy weather we have had!
It was only a week ago that we were outside playing in the leaves with barley a jacket on. Now here we sit with our first snow storm of the season and it was a good one. It made for a weekend of fun! The girls of course were so excited and didn't want to wait to go outside and play in it. The sad thing was we didn't have their snow stuff when it first snowed so they had to settle for just going out and walking in it and not rolling around in it.
I think she loves the snow a little too much. It is funny how she can get so cold sometimes, but if there is snow involved she doesn't even seem to mind the cold.
Even though Lucy got to go out in the snow last year I would have to say this is the first time she actually enjoyed it!
Making snowballs!
Daddy even got in on the fun. After living in Iowa for three years Caleb said to me I think I now understand why they say Utah has the best snow on earth! In Iowa I swear we never had anything but ice. Even if it looked like snow it felt like ice! So what did Caleb do with this great snow.....he made a snowman just like the girls asked. He is a suck a sucker for doing what the girls ask! (He is seriously the best dad!)
Yay for snow!
(But only until Christmas then it can go away!)
Not sure what she was doing but she was so cute!
The snowman got a little bigger than I think he realized! He couldn't lift the body onto the base, but that didn't stop him. He always figures out a way to get things done!
The finished product! The girls loved that it was as big as their daddy!
It only stayed this pretty for the day and then the candy started to bleed its color and it was a mess! Messy and funny looking I might add!
We found their snow stuff and the next day they were out in the snow this time rolling around and completely enjoying themselves!
Playing while it snowed!
Lucy wasn't a huge fan of laying down and having snow fall in her face!
Makayla on the other hand loved it!
Loved having our first little snow storm!
Lets just hope we get some for Christmas too!
