I Have A Tooth!

Nicole is growing up way to fast and hitting milestone after milestone. Her latest one, a tooth!
You can't see it too well but this is me trying to show off Nicole's first tooth. She had one break through at 4 1/2 months old! Seriously not ready for her to grow up! Lucy got her teeth early, but I think Nicole has her beat by like a month!
She really didn't like me pulling on her sore mouth!

Loving the Snow

What a winter we have had so far this year. My girls are loving every second of it. I am about done with it, but obviously mother nature doesn't care what I think! They want to go out and play in it almost every single day. Makayla would stay out for awhile, but I swear I would spend forever getting Lucy ready to have her only spend a couple of minutes out there before wanting to come in because she was cold. I think it was because the snow was too deep for her and she couldn't really do much in it. The nice thing about Utah snow is you can actually play in it even a few days after it snows and it is still fun and not completely ice!
Lucy helping Daddy build a fort.
Lucy sitting in the fort that her Daddy was making!

Makayla putting snow anywhere she could. Even on the trees.
Making snowballs!

Sitting in the snow and not getting wet! She loves the concept of snow pants!
Lucy making some snowballs too!

See how big the mounds were.
Makayla loved the mounds. She was a crazy woman in the snow.

Lucy stayed on the sidewalk most of the time because she knew she could walk there without falling over!
Now that we have played in the snow a bunch I am so ready for it to go away for spring to come! I sure hope it comes soon!

Happy New Year's!

We spent New Year's at home with my parents and Eric and BreAnn. It was low key and just the way I like things. The girls had fun playing games but had a hard time staying awake. In fact Lucy didn't make it. She asked to go to bed around 10ish. She tried to hard, but just couldn't make it. Makayla was determined to stay awake, and she almost did. She laid down a little before midnight and fell asleep on the floor. We woke her up at midnight and let her bang pots and pans and then told her it was time for bed and she was like, "wait that is it?" I think she was expecting something great to happen once it hit that magical time. Oh well I think she had a fun time!
Makayla welcoming in the new year!

We took a picture of Lucy the next morning with her hat and horn! You wouldn't even have know if I didn't tell you!
We are excited for 2013 and what it has in store for us! We are finally done with school and are now ready to try and make it in the real world!
Good luck to us, and
welcome 2013!
