Boy has it been a LONG time since I have updated this blog. Life has been super crazy and it is only going to get worse as we are getting ready to move! Caleb just finished up his 9th trimester at Palmer and now we get to go home and finish his last trimester precepting with the Chiropractors we are hopefully going to work for when he graduates in Oct.! Life is crazy right now so here are some pictures to keep you updated on our life right now!
First up Lucy has some crazy hair! It is the best in the morning. I took this picture so you could see how long it is on top. It is growing just like Makayla's did and she has the curls in the back too. It took her longer to get her hair to grow, but she sure has a lot of it now!
This picture is one of my favorite!!!!
There are two things that Lucy loves and that is sleep and food. I guess on this day she couldn't decide which one she wanted more!
This little girl was definitely born in Iowa! She loves her corn.
After she helped daddy get it out of the peel she wouldn't let it go and started eating it. We probably would have thought it was weird or gross except for the fact that Makayla had done it our first summer out here and we learned it is a normal Iowa thing.
Makayla and Cadence enjoying their "raw" corn back in 2009.
Even though she wasn't born in Iowa I think she probably should have been!
Look at how young Makayla is! It is crazy to think we moved here when Makayla was this little and now we are leaving with Lucy being about the same age!
We love doughnuts around our house and one of the saddest things about living here is that there isn't a Krispy Cream doughnut shop anywhere close to us, but we recently found out that one of the local elementary schools brings some in on the first Friday of the month and sells them for a fundraiser. So what did we last Friday???? Yup we got some yummy doughnuts! The girls LOVED them!
Playing with play dough is a great Sunday afternoon activity!
I love watching these two girls play together! They are so much fun!
While I was going through old clothes and getting things organized Makayla found this shirt that we bought in Hawaii when I was first pregnant with Makayla. We didn't know what we were having so we bought both a boy and a girl outfit. Before we knew it Makayla was trying to put it one. This is a 3 month size shirt mind you! We were laughing so hard!
I had to put this up because I just love her face! Her smile is so cute! Man I love her!
And finally....
Makayla has a dance recital coming up the weekend we move and she just got her outfit for it.
She is so excited to wear it and preform. She came right home and wanted to try it on for Caleb and of course little sister has to do what big sister does.
Lucy found Makayl's old dance costume so we put it on her and they both went crazy!
I have the two cutest girls in the world!
I wonder what THIS next little girl will be like......
I guess we will just have to wait until Sept. to find out! :)
