Well we have been home here for a little over a month now and boy have we been busy having fun. Caleb is in his 4th Trimester at school and he hasn't been too busy thus far, so we have sure taken advantage of it. Here are some pictures of the things we have been up to.
Makayla loves to get her face painted and sits so still while they are doing it. This is one she got done at the farmers market that we go to each Saturday. Boy do we love going and getting fresh food.
This is one of Makayla's favorite things to do, READ! She loves to be read to and just recently she loves to read to anyone who will listen. I came into the room one morning to find her sitting on the couch with this stack of books! It took her a long time to get through them all. We have started to go to the library each week and she loves it! She thinks it is the coolest thing to be able to pick out her own books to read.
Here is Makayla after the Nauvoo Pageant with the Nauvoo Temple in the background. We are so lucky to live so close to this beautiful Temple. In fact we are in the Nauvoo Temple district, which is pretty cool. We did lots of fun things while we were waiting for the Pageant to start, but I didn't get pictures because I was too busy chasing Makayla around while Caleb was doing security. Since Nauvoo is our Temple our ward was asked to volunteer to do security during the Pageant and of course my sweet husband volunteered! It was a lot of fun and I am sure glad we went.
About three weeks after we got home my mom decided to come and visit us since school would be starting soon for her and the next time she was going to be coming out here was going to be when the baby comes.
While she was here we did some fun things. One thing we did was go to the fair. We had a lot of fun. Makayla loved feeding all the animals, even if the goats did steal her cup of food at the end and we left with her crying!
We also let Makayla ride some of the rides that they had there and she had so much fun. I just hope she doesn't think that this will happen every time.
Here she is riding in the car. She really liked this one, except for the fact that it started with a jolt and she hit her head.
Of course we had to ride the carousel.
For her last ride we thought she would like to ride this dragon ride. At first I thought she was too small, but after we saw a little girl about her age get on we decided if she wanted to we would let her go. She got in and was so excited and then.........
It started to go and she didn't think it was all that fun. I don't know if you can see it in this picture but she was terrified. I felt so bad for her. After a few times around she seemed to relax and semi enjoy it. Even though I felt bad I couldn't stop laughing!
Another fun thing that we did was go to the Zoo. We have been there a few times already this year and we love it. This time we decided to go in and feed the birds.
Here Caleb is with all the birds on him. I was glad he was holding the nectar. The birds swarmed him.

Makayla held on to Grandma for dear life while we were in there. Needless to say I don't think we will do it again anytime soon.
This is my favorite. Just look at their faces!
Makayla loves to sit on these and pretend she is handing out tickets.
Two monkeys!
Thanks Grandma for coming out and spending more time with us!
We sure did love having you!

CUTE!!! Savor 4th tri!!! It is by far the best and 5th tri yeah not so much...but maybe that is because Dave is taking boards this tri! That is amazing that she went through all those books what a smartie! Lets play soon;)
The fair looks like it was a blast! Travis knew about the fair here in town and didn't tell me on purpose! Rude! You are a lucky girl to have a mom with free flight benefits!
Her face is priceless on the roller coaster. Cadie was too much of a wimp to even try it. I love it. She has chutzpah.
These are great! She IS getting so big :)
